EAS will present a one day intensive seminar on FSMA Part 117 CGMPs and preventative controls for human food from a line-staff perspective. This one day workshop, will acquaint food manufacturing employees with the revised CGMPs and practical tools to successfully comply with food safety regulations per FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act.

The 1-day Intensive covers:

  • Introduction to FSMA & Part 117 Elements
  • Subpart A – General Provisions, Definition of Terms
  • Subpart B – Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs)
  • Subpart C – Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls (PC-HF, also called HARPC)
  • Subpart D – Modified Requirements for Warehouses
  • Subpart G – Supply Chain Program
  • Subpart F – Recordkeeping Requirements
Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the importance of their role in making safe food, and how to better accomplish their responsibilities under the new part 117 preventive control regulations.
